Meet Alex and Shane Ulivarria
Bullivaria began from the love and passion for the Bully breed. Alex Ullivaria started raising Pit Bulls in his native country of Mexico and fell in love with Bullies. After moving to the United States his passion was put on hold while he established himself. His love for animals led him to work on a horse farm in San Miguel, California where he met his wife, Shane. Shane and Alex were married in February of 2024.
With a combined love and desire to provide quality animals, be it horses or dogs, Alex and Shane embarked on the adventure of breeding Exotic and Micro Bullies. Alex began with the purchase of a beautiful chocolate stud named Taz. With Taz’s quirky, happy personality and strong conformation, Alex was confident he could produce animals to meet his two most important criteria; great dispositions and good, strong conformation.
In addition to disposition and conformation, Alex and Shane find it of utmost importance to socialize the puppies with other dogs and people. With several other adult dogs, an AirBnb and a great team to manage the farm, the puppies are exposed to a variety of people and dogs to create a loving family environment. “The goal is to have our puppies go to loving homes where they will fit into a family from the start. We want them to be able to be successful in the show ring but most importantly have lifelong homes.”
Alex has added two females to the pack, the first being Lucy, a fawn, and Lena, a blue merle. Lucy was the first to come home and earned the nickname “burrito” as a puppy. She loves to lounge around the house and go for walks around the farm. Lena was introduced to the family about 6 months later and likes to follow the feed truck around in the mornings, in the afternoon you can find her sleeping in the shade.
As our Bullivaria family continues to grow we look forward to attending more shows and promoting our strong healthy pups amongst the Micro and Exotic Bully breed. We are excited to become more involved in the industry and share our quality pups!
